The Photojournalist

Dane Rhys is a freelance photojournalist based in the United States. He left a career in the gold mining industry to document industrial workers and their communities with a focus on the effects of de-industrialization and the changing energy sector.

He's a graduate of the International Center of Photography’s Visual Journalism program, he attended the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXII. He's had features published by Washington Post, Reuters Investigates, Bloomberg Green, Markets, Business magazines, Business Insider, Thomson Reuters and has presented work at the National Museum of Industrial History and the International Center of Photography.
